About us: Associates General Insurance Inc. was established in 1984. Memphis Insurance
Center Inc. began operations in 1964 and merged with Associates General Insurance, Inc. in
1993. Both companies are owned and operated by Associates General Insurance, Inc.
At present, AGI & MIC provide insurance protection for more than 3,000 individuals, families,
and businesses in Tennessee and Mississippi.
Larry D. Swatts, CPCU, AAI and C. Leon Burchett are the agency principals and have more than
fifty combined years of insurance experience. As an independent insurance agency, we are in the
unique position of being able to represent more than one insurance company. This gives us a
